Reverse Reverb creates a reverb swell that builds up into a sound, rather than trailing away after it. It’s a classic production technique for creating cinematic transitions, vocal risers, and atmospheric builds.

Usage

  1. Select an audio clip
  2. Open the Command Palette (⌘K) and search for “Reverse Reverb”
  3. Gridshift processes the clip and creates a new clip with the reverse reverb tail
The original clip remains unchanged. Place the reverse reverb clip before the original for a classic “swell into the hit” effect.
