Reverse Reverb creates a reverb swell that builds up into a sound, rather than trailing away after it. It’s a classic production technique for creating cinematic transitions, vocal risers, and atmospheric builds.

Usage

Select an audio clip

Open the Command Palette and search

Open the Command Palette (⌘K) and search for “Reverse Reverb”.

Gridshift processes the clip and creates a new clip with the reverse reverb tail

The original clip remains unchanged. Place the reverse reverb clip before the original for a classic “swell into the hit” effect.
