Click Style
Change the click sound via the Command Palette (⌘K → “Metronome Style”). Multiple styles are available including hi-hat and classic click sounds.
Count-In
When recording starts and the metronome mode includes count-in:
- The playhead stays at its current position
- The metronome clicks for the configured number of bars
- A visual overlay shows the current beat count
- Recording begins automatically after the count-in
Count-In Bars
Configure 1 or 2 bars of count-in. The number of beats per bar follows the project’s time signature.
Volume
Adjust metronome volume from the Command Palette or settings. The volume range is 0% to 100% (default: 70%).
Settings Persistence
All metronome settings (mode, style, count-in bars, volume) are saved automatically and persist across sessions.Last modified on March 28, 2026
