Good to know
- Pitch runs from −24 to +24 semitones, decimals allowed;
⌥-drag sets cents. You hear it while you drag. - Pitch is not linked by default, so a new sample never transposes itself. The project key is set in Tempo, Key and Time Signature.
- Under Punchy, raised pitch leaves gaps. A slice pitched up plays faster and ends early. For pitched-up melodic material, switch to Smooth (why).
- Formant is Smooth-only, from −12 to +12 semitones, shown while the sample is stretched or pitched.
- Like a stretch, pitch belongs to the sample, so every clip of it follows.
