Looping
The loop region is defined by the current marquee selection. Use
⇧⌘L to simultaneously set the loop and zoom to fit the loop region in view.
Once the loop is on, ⌥⌘ and the arrow keys steer it without touching your selection. Left and right move it by one whole loop length, so a four-bar loop jumps four bars — the next phrase, and the one before it. Up and down double and halve it, anchored at the loop’s start.
These four keys only act while the loop is on, since a loop that is off is not drawn anywhere. Moving left stops at the first bar and keeps the loop’s length; halving stops at one beat.
With the transport stopped the edit cursor travels with the loop, and the view scrolls to keep the loop visible. Your clip and note selection is what stays untouched.

Inspector tabs
Each shortcut switches the Inspector to that tab, opening the Inspector if it’s hidden.⌘1 and ⌘2 change meaning while an Automation clip is open in
Focus Mode: there they switch the clip
between drawing the curve by hand and shaping it with an LFO. The other three tabs keep their keys
everywhere, and Escape leaves Focus Mode.
