Recording captures input on the selected track. On instrument tracks, MIDI notes are recorded. On sample tracks, slice triggers are recorded. The recording appears as a ghost clip that grows with the playhead.

Looping

Set Loop to Marquee + Zoom⌘⇧L
The loop region is defined by the current marquee selection. Use ⌘⇧L to simultaneously set the loop and zoom to fit the loop region in view.
