# Reverse Reverb

> Generate cinematic reverse reverb tails for transitions, risers, and atmospheric builds.

Reverse Reverb creates a reverb swell that builds up *into* a sound, rather than trailing away after it. It's a classic production technique for creating cinematic transitions, vocal risers, and atmospheric builds.

## Usage

<Steps>
  <Step title="Select an audio clip" />

  <Step title="Open the Command Palette and search">
    Open the Command Palette (`⌘K`) and search for **"Reverse Reverb"**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Gridshift processes the clip and creates a new clip with the reverse reverb tail" />
</Steps>

The original clip remains unchanged. Place the reverse reverb clip before the original for a classic "swell into the hit" effect.
